The Lake Jackson Historical Association, in Lake Jackson, Texas, is planning a grand reopening for the Abner Jackson Plantation site on April 2nd, 2011 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. They are looking for re-enactors to come and set up for the day. Just basically a blanket display with tools and equipment of the time. Would be a good recruiting tool and a chance to handout flyers for upcoming events.

Just a reminder that the Fritztown Free Trapper’s Spring Rendezvous is next weekend!!!

It’s a Pilgrim’s Rondy so invite your family and friends to come out – either for the weekend or just Saturday to see what our rendezvous’ are all about!

The weather should be perfect so there’s no excuses for not showing up. SWRR is up near Oklahoma so there’s no point spending gas money on SWRR….just head to La Vernia and play with the Fritztown Free Trappers!
